Visitor Info – FAQs
What are the Opening Times?
The Festival is open from 9am until 7pm on 22nd Saturday and 9am until 6pm on Sunday 23rd July 2017.
What does the Ticket Price Include?
Please read the Ticket Type section carefully which accompanies each ticket type on the ticket Ordering System. If you have any specific queries please contact our team.
Can Tickets be purchased on the Day of the Festival?
Tickets are selling fast and due to capacity restrictions at the Venue we only have a limited number. Tickets will not be available ‘on the gate’ – please make sure you have purchased a ticket prior to your attendance so that you are not disappointed.
I have a Goody Bag Code for the Festival, how do I use this?
Once you have selected the tickets you require from our site, scroll to the bottom where it asks ‘Have an access key?’, click this to enter your code and press ‘unlock’. This will add the free goody bag to your order.
Are Children free?
Children aged 7 or under are free to enter the Festival with an Adult who has purchased a Standard Entrance Ticket. For Health & Safety reasons we require a ratio of one adult to four (4) children 7 or under years old. Children seven (7) or under may attend the Celebrity Chef Demonstrations if they can sit quietly on an Adults Lap and not disturb other attendees.
Is camping available?
Yes it is, please book your ticket on the booking page. Please note that spaces are to be allocated on arrival, so if you are wanting to be placed near somebody else we recommend you arrive together to accommodate this.
The campsite opening times are from 2pm Friday 21st – 8pm Sunday 23rd July.
Bathroom facilities including showers will be available on site. There is no electricity provision onsite. Our campsite is accessible via a solid road.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are not available.
Can dogs attend the Festival?
Our new home is a working Farm with plenty of open space, so feel free to bring your four legged friends along to our festival. They must be kept on a short lead and waste bins will be available for your use. Dogs are also welcome in the camping / caravan fields.
Can I get Cash at the Festival?
Yes, there will be Cash Back facilities on site.
Is there a Token System?
No, all products on site can be purchased with cash.
Is there a Picnic Area?
There are several seating areas around the Festival venue, these are clearly marked on the map. Please note that only food and drink purchased at the Festival may be consumed in these areas.
Is there Disabled Access?
Our Festival Home is a grassy field, so may therefore be challenging for wheelchair users, due to the nature of the venue. We do have dedicated Disabled Parking (for Blue Badge Holders) which is located nearer to the entrances, our Traffic Management Team will direct you.
Please notify us if you intend to purchase a Celebrity Demonstration Ticket as we will need to allocate a Disabled (Wheelchair) Space. Please note these are limited and are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
There are dedicated Disabled Toilets which are shown on the festival layout map inside the Event Guide, which you will receive on arrival.
If you have any questions or need any help during the Festival please speak to one of our Team.
Are Carers allowed Free Admission into the Festival?
To ensure that the festival is available to all we offer disabled ticket holders, subject to availability, a free ticket for a Carer. This offer is open to those who hold a current higher rate of DLA, or other UK government approved supporting evidence of their requirement for a Carer. Carer tickets can only be issued against a standard adult entrance ticket.
Please note that this offer is only available to those people that would be unable to attend the festival without a full time assistance. Every application is assessed on an individual basis and if anyone is found to be making a fraudulent application, we reserve the right to cancel both the original ticket and the carer ticket, before and during the event.
To apply for a carer ticket please email us at email@example.com with proof of a standard ticket purchase (e-ticket email) and a copy of your letter of award for the DLA (or equivalent). These must be received by the 1st May 2017.
Please note that Celebrity Demonstration Tickets are not part of this offer. To be accompanied for a Celebrity Cookery Demonstration the Carer will also require a ticket.
Is there Food for Vegetarians, Vegans or Gluten Free?
Yes, several of our Exhibitors offer a range of Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten Free Food.
Can I attend the Festival if I have a Food Allergy?
All our Exhibitor’s make every attempt to identify ingredients that may cause the most common allergic reactions, however, there is always a risk of cross contamination and those with allergies should be aware of this. Please check with an Exhibitor and they will be able to advise.
