Electric Hook Up

    Home Electric Hook Up

Add a bit of luxury to your stay with Electric Hook Up!

Please enquire about spaces for electric hook ups before booking if it is a requirement for you.

We have limited electric hook up pitches available in our Silver Caravan, Silver Motorhome & Gold camping options! These can be purchased online with the rest of your tickets, or you can give us a call and we can help over the phone and book everything with you!

We ask that you have read our electric hook up terms and conditions before you purchase an electric hook up pitch, the team will ask if you are happy with these before completing your purchase.

You can find all of the tickets including electric hook up pitches through our ticket page here: BUY TICKETS

    Important Information:

    – Electric hook up is provided via diesel generators.

    – The generators may make some noise when running.

    – Electric is turned on from 12pm Friday and turned off at 10am Monday.

    – The generators may ‘trip’ if over loaded (i.e. having a hair dryer running at the same time as a kettle) and will need to be reset on your allocated board.

    – Electrical Hook Up is a ceeform socket. The Organiser does not provide connectors or extension leads so you are expected to bring your own.

There are limited electric hook up pitches, so please have a look at the ticket page or get in touch to see if they are available.

Key Points to be aware of in relation to Electric Hook-Up

Electrical provision at the event is provided by a Sub-Contractor and not the Organiser.

There is no mains electricity at the venue and electricity is provided by fuel generators. These may emit fumes and do make a noise when they are running. Your allocated space may be near to a generator.

We cannot permit customers to select their pitch location at the venue and customers will be allocated a space by the event team upon arrival at the event. The event team managers decision is final.

The electricity is turned on at 12:00 on Friday 22nd July 2022 and turned off at 10:00 on Monday 25th July 2022.

Customers need to be aware that the generators may ‘trip’ if over loaded (i.e. having a hair dryer running at the same time as a kettle) and will need to be reset on your allocated board.

Customers are asked to also be aware that the generators may fail and need resetting by our Electrical Team. As the team are working across the entire event venue it may be some time before they are able to respond to a generator failure. The Organisers ask that customers be patient in such circumstances. This may also occur during the night, in this instance the Electrical Team will respond as soon as practicable.

You should contact the Campsite Warden (Security Team) outside of the event opening hours should a generator fail. Their telephone number is displayed on the Camp Site Information board located at the Campsite Festival entrance gate.

Electrical Hook Up is a ceeform socket. The Organiser does not provide connectors or extension leads so you are expected to bring your own. If you forget your connector please contact one of the Event Team at the festival who may be able to help you.

Placing an order and price and payment

The contract for the purchase of any Electrical Hook Up Ticket will be between you and the Organiser. These contracts will only be formed when the Organiser has received payment in full for the ticket(s). Until such time there is no contract between you and the Organiser for the ticket(s). The Organiser reserves the right in its sole discretion to reject any order it receives.

The price of the Electrical Hook Up ticket will be as quoted on the email at the time we accept your order, except in the case of obvious error. This price will include VAT where applicable. Prices are subject to change at any time.

We use our best efforts to ensure that the prices of Ticket(s) displayed on our site are correct.

Payment for Electrical Hook Up tickets must be made by Visa or MasterCard. By providing the details of a credit or debit card, you confirm that you are authorised to purchase the tickets and that you are the holder of the relevant credit or debit card or are expressly authorised to use this to purchase the tickets.

We use a third party payment provider to assist us to process payment.

We reserve the right to cancel bookings which we reasonably suspect to have been made fraudulently.

    Delivery
Confirmation of your booking will be sent to you via email following your purchase.

If you have not received your confirmation within 24 hours following your purchase please check your SPAM / Junk email folder and if they are not there, please contact us by emailing us at tickets@yorkshiredalesfoodanddrinkfestival.com

Your Electrical Hook Up ticket will be posted to you by June 2022. The Organiser will send you an email confirming the date of postage. Only this ticket can be used to access Electrical Hook Up at the event.

The Organiser cannot be held responsible for any tickets lost in the post. It is the Customers responsibility to ensure that the correct postal address is provided to the Organiser upon booking. Any changes to a postal delivery address can only be made by the person who booked the ticket and must be made via email (same email address used for booking) by the 1st June 2022.

    Refunds/exchanges

After you have purchased an Electrical Hook-Up ticket it cannot be exchanged or refunded.

Where an Event is cancelled by the Organiser refunds may be issued. If an Event is cancelled or curtailed because of circumstances beyond our control, i.e. in a force majeure instance, no refunds will be given.

Where a refund is sought you must bring this to our attention as soon as possible upon becoming aware of the event cancellation. The refund for tickets will be for the face value of the tickets purchased only (unless otherwise stated).
