Everyone is welcome at the Yorkshire Dales Food & Drink Festival, and we endeavour to take reasonable action to ensure our festival is accessible for all. Our team both in the office and in the field will do their utmost to ensure everyone has a great experience.
We view the usual facilities expected at events such as disabled parking, toilets, free Carer tickets and easy access viewing as a given.
Our festival family strives to include everyone, we have a BSL Interpreter in two of our Celebrity Chef Demonstration sessions (this is the 2pm Celebrity session on each day), plus we can offer you a large print event map and schedules. Please get in touch if you would like to request one of these before the end of May each year. If you need any help on the event days please speak to our lovely team in the Red Information Hub located in the Yorkshire Meadow and Watering Hole areas.
To allow those wanting to stay with us to have the best experience our caravan and motorhome fields have a dedicated area for those with accessibility needs enabling them to be nearer to the event field and camping services.
We try to help in any way we can and have supported individuals with complex needs at past events. Please get in touch with our team to see if we can make any reasonable adaptations to enable you to fully enjoy our festival and how we can help.
For many a dog is also a huge part of the family. To enable this group of people to be fully included too we welcome dogs at our festival, thus making our event unique. Dogs are welcome to camp and we even provide special doggy stations, which have water, and waste bags.
At our festival everyone eats! Our team ensure we have a range of food which is accessible for everyone. Including halal, vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, allergen free, coeliac suitable, dairy free, small portions and children’s portions.
