Join our fabulous Chef Mike in our Italian style Cookery School to learn how to whip up a hearty breakfast Risotto, a delicious summer lunch Risotto or a super sweet Tiramisu Rice Pudding.
The School uses fantastic ingredients from our Festival Partners including stock from Kallo and Aborio rice from Gallo.
10am & 11:15am Sessions – Learn how to create a delicious Breakfast Risotto flavoured with streaky bacon and poached egg.

12:30pm and 16:15pm Sessions – Learn how to create a tasty summer Courgette & Lemon Risotto.
Perfect for lunch or early evening supper!
13:45pm and 17:30pm Sessions – Learn how to create a Spinach & Mushroom Risotto which is packed full of flavour.
Perfect for lunch or early evening supper!
15:00pm and 18:30pm Sessions – Learn how to create a unique Creme Anglaise Rice Pudding Tiramisu, which will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth!
Sessions are £12 + Fees per adult and can be booked via the workshop link here when they are released to ticket holders on the 16th May 2023.
Sessions last for approximately 45 minutes and are for adults only due to the use of knives and hot plates. The Italian Cookery School is located in a Marquee near to the Lidl tent in the Yorkshire Meadow Area.
There are 10 workstations with two participants per workstation, so perfect for friends or couples to learn a new skill together.
You are advised to eat your dish immediately after the session to prevent food poisoning.
All sessions contain products where allergens are present and due to the nature of the sessions we cannot guarantee that any dishes (even those which do not contain a particular allergen) are free from contamination.
We therefore advise that this activity is NOT suitable for anyone who has an intolerance to the 14 recognised allergens – the allergens known to be present in the dishes being cooked are Milk, Mustard, Egg, Celery).
